One cannot miss the New Kit Siang coffee shop along Jalan Burma (Burmah Road), Penang. It is a normal coffee shop but not the name. YB Lim Kit Siang, I was told, has nothing to do with the coffee shop and neither is his son YAB Lim Guan Eng, the Chief Minister of Penang.
What happened to the "old" Kit Siang coffee shop?
One wonders whether later on one can visits Pak Lah's Sleeping Lodge in Kepala Batas, or Kak Wan's Internet Cafe in Permatang Pauh or may be Anwar's Bistro or Kopitiam Guan Eng. As the saying goes, anything is possible in good old Penang. Why not? George Town is now UNESCO's World Heritage Site.
