The Malaysian Government today announced the setting up of a three-member independent panel headed by former Chief Judge, High Court of Malaya, Tan Sri Haidar Mohamad Noor to investigate the authenticity of the video clip showing lawyer V.K. Lingam talking on the phone to someone (said to be a very senior judge) on the appointment of judges.
