KUDA RANGGI - You can take a horse to (the) water but you can't make it drink.
did you hear fireworks, bro? i did not. i didn't see the skies lit up in celebration of this great nation, either.but happy malaysia day to us.
Sad to say, my former boss was too busy handling the so-called 50th Merdeka Anniversary of Malaysia (should be Malaya), that the actual anniversary of Malaysia was ignored. He withdrew from contesting the CommonwealthSecretary-General's post just to concentrate on the Merdeka do. The peoples of North Borneo (Sabah) and Sarawak achieved independence on Sept 16, 1963 and not August 31, 1957. Why must they celebrate Merdeka on August 31? Why can't our leaders accept the truth? Malaysia Day is on Sept 16 and not August 31.
